For its latest Alta Moda presentation, the Italian maison returned to Taormina, Sicily, where the couture journey first began in 2012. Set within the remarkable Radicepura Botanical Park, the evening unfolded not simply as a runway show but as an immersive meditation on mythology, landscape and Italian craftsmanship.

At a time when much of luxury fashion is driven by accelerated production cycles and digital spectacle, Alta Moda continues to resist the rhythm of the industry. Each collection is conceived less as seasonal fashion than as a body of work—created for patrons, collectors and connoisseurs who value craftsmanship as a form of cultural inheritance.

This year’s collection, Le Devote delle Dee dell’Olimpo—The Devotees of the Olympian Goddesses—drew inspiration from the legends of ancient Greece and the natural abundance of Sicily.

Silhouettes were embellished with sculptural florals, intricate bullion embroidery, hand-painted ceramics, gilded ornamentation, Chantilly lace and delicate botanical motifs inspired by the Mediterranean landscape. Every garment reflected hundreds of hours of handwork.

The setting itself became part of the narrative. Surrounded by rare botanical species, guests experienced couture in dialogue with nature—a reminder that the finest luxury often emerges from place, memory and tradition rather than novelty alone.
